The people now residing at The Spruces Mobile Home Park and the folks who used to be there are now officially "tabled" until further notice. The old saying "any decision is better than nothing at all" applies here.
Williamstown residents overwhelmingly voted to postpone making any decision on the Lowry property, which was suggested for use as housing for the displaced Spruces families.
Although I believe using this beautiful land for housing is yet another example of urban sprawl, that does not change the fact that people need housing. Town leaders sitting on their pencils will not make it happen.
So, it would appear that you're on your own to find housing and can't expect any help from the town. Why didn't they just say that to begin with?
