I received my letter regarding the Adams branch of TD Bank’s closing last week. On Friday, I started the easy process of switching to Adams Community Bank.
TD Bank’s company spokeswoman, Lauren Moyer, made everything sound so easy for customers. "Customers will continue to do their banking just as they do today but at a different location with features that provide a more consistent experience. All can also continue to access (the bank’s) enhanced online mobile and ATM channels."
Customers will not be banking as they do today because many of us could simply walk to the bank branch. Also, many seniors do not own computers. I feel sorry for the employees who are not guaranteed a job despite seniority. They are a great group and I will miss them.
