Phoebe Kalamaja: We get our turkey at Wal-Mart in the grape and celery section. I love grapes! Our turkey is medium size, which is about 52 pounds. We stuff its belly with mushrooms and grapes mixed in. We just heat it up in the microwave at 730 degrees for a couple of days.
Keegan Dellaghelfa: Grampa took a gun course so he can shoot our turkey. After we get it, we will cut everything off until it is bald. Then we put it in the heater and then stick it in the juicer to get all the juice out. It'll be about 26 pounds. The heater has to be 34 degrees for about 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ... no, 7 minutes. I am the taster, so I always get to taste it, without the skin. I always tell everybody how good it is, and then they want some, too.
Julianna Valois: I have Thanksgiving at Nana's house. She buys the turkey at Wal-Mart. It is easy to find because they are right next to all the other turkeys at Wal-Mart. The store is full of them! Our turkey cost about 40 dollars. When she takes it home, she pats it to get all of the bones out, so that your teeth don't break on it when you chew it. She cooks it for 3 or 4 minutes at 5 degrees. We know it is done
Kristen Wilczak: My mommy just gets turkey. I never saw her take the feathers off, but she must because I never see any on it. She stuffs it with this gross casserole that I never eat. I only eat the mashed potatoes. Our turkey is gigantic - as big as a house. I'm telling you it is about 6 pounds. It sits in the oven for about 10 hours at hotness degrees. I know it is done when the oven makes that cute little beeping sound. Then for some reason, we stick this big weird clock in it to see if it got hot enough. That's it!
Ruth Lesage: I go to Mimi's house. I am pretty sure she gets our turkey at the toy store. Since it is for the whole family, it is really heavy ... about 50 feet long. It is so big that we have to put it in the trunk of our car. We can't even shut the trunk lid. When we get home, we put it in a huge pot and put it in the oven. It takes about three people to lift it. I tried, but it was way too heavy. We cook it for 4 minutes at REALLY hot, because you can feel the burning from the oven. That little dingy thing tells us when it is done.
Alivia Lesure: I get my turkey at Grandma's. Grampa shoots it, cuts it up and blenders it. Then we cook it for eight hours at 8 degrees. Most kids don't like seasoning, just my cousin, Jess. She cuts the turkey in half and puts the seasoning on hers. We have a fun holiday, but my Grandma doesn't let me sneak in her cupboards while it's cooking.
Kassandra Jarvis: We have Thanksgiving at my Gramma's. I can't wait to have her vanilla cream pie! You would love it! Our turkey is about as big as a watermelon. She puts seasoning on it. We put seasoning on steak sometimes, too. She cooks it at 8 degrees for 20 minutes. You know it is done when it turns dark brown. I still say the best thing about Thanksgiving is Gram's vanilla cream pie!
Abigail Galiepo: Jacob and my dad go hunting and shoot a turkey. They cut the feathers off, and then they pull off the beak and take the eyes out. Then they take the skin off, turn the oven to about 6 degrees and it cooks for about seven hours. After we take it out of the oven, we eat it. We have so much good food.
Noah Grimes: We go to Grandma Judy's. My mom buys the turkey at Wal-Mart - they are right by the freezers. We get one that is 151 pounds. My mom puts salt in it, with a little barbecue sauce. She puts a smashed egg in it and has to leave the shells on the eggs and just stir it. Then Dad cuts a hole, and they shove the eggs in the back end. They cook it for about an hour and a half at 10 degrees. If it is not done, we microwave it for awhile.
Edward Depson: We get out turkey from Wal-Mart on Thanksgiving Day. Our turkey is just 5 pounds, so we only have to microwave it for 20 minutes. That's all I can think of.
Aleah Tarjick: We get our turkey at the Thanksgiving store at the mall. It is called the Thanksgiving store, and it closes right after Thanksgiving. They have everything you need. We buy a 32-pound turkey. When we get home, we wash it real good. We stuff it with a little salt and some American sauce. We put it in the oven for 32 degrees for 32 hours. We know it is done because my dad stands there the whole time watching it. When he feels it, he knows if it is done.
Aiden Astorino: I get my turkey at Stash-in-Stop. It is about 100 pounds. That is fat! We cook it in the oven at about 10 degrees for a lot of hours. You know it is done when the turkey dings. My dad has a little chain saw and he cuts it. It is so loud we all have to cover our ears, and that's our happy Thanksgiving.

Enrique Garcia: We get a live turkey at a farm. Somehow Mommy and Daddy get him ready. I don't know how! He goes into the oven in a pan. He gets cooked at 100 degrees for 100 hours. Mom just knows when he is done. She takes it out and slices it up. Then we eat it.
Gabrielle Schneider: Cook the turkey at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Buy one that weighs 74 pounds. I would buy banana bread and banana celery to eat with the turkey. Buy it at Price Chopper. It costs 40 bucks.
Samantha Carey: Buy a turkey for $3 at Big Y. Take it out of the bag. Put it in a pan. Stuff it with stuffing. Bake it at 40 degrees for 10 minutes. It will look like turkey when it is done. Set it on the table. Cut it. Eat it with a fork.
Shaylynn Cantoni-Spencer: We buy a turkey at Wal-Mart. We put it in the fridgerator. He stays there for three hours. We take it out and put it in a pan and cook it in a 3-degree or 4-degree oven. We take it out and cut it up. Then we eat it.
Aurora Bullett: Buy a turkey at Wal-Mart. Open the box. Wash the turkey off. Put it in a little pan. Put it in the oven for 10 minutes at 10 degrees. It is done when the timer rings. Put it on the table, and Daddy carves it. Eat it with butter on top.
Jacob Michlen: You need brown sugar and a cup of love. Cranberries and mash potatoes, even some gravy for the mash potatoes. Some stuffing, too. Buy a 2-foot turkey, 100 pounds. Cook it for 100 hours in a little hot oven. Eat it with the bones.
Jevon Terry: Put it in the oven, then leave it in for four to eight hours. And take it out when it is all brown. You put salt on it. Get spices, gravy, stuffing and mounds of mashed potatoes with more gravy. Cut it and put it on the table. Set the table before you put it on it. Don't forget the cranberry sauce. I eat it with my whole family.
