Man on the Bench
Man on the bench is very wise
Dirt rings surround his eyes
He doesn't have much to say
But he prays to the lord everyday
He watches the people in the cold
None know he is actually bold
Man in a suit passes by
Reaches into his pocket and pulls out some dimes
The humble man smiles and simply shakes his head
Then lies down to go to bed
Although he is not important and wealthy
He is strong and healthy
There is one thing in which
He is very rich
Spirit is that thing
Of which he is king
Man on the bench knows one day the face of God he will see
Soon in the kingdom of heaven he will be.
