Coach: Fred Finkle (6th year)
Last year: 1-13
Key returnees: Devin Farnum, Sr.
The Eagles' season outlook is still up in the air. Two days before the season started, there were only a handful of eligible golfers. Finkle is hoping three seniors will turn in their paperwork once school starts and bolster the lineup.
As of now, Devin Farnum and Bradley Lupiani are the lone upperclassmen. Finkle said Farnum has been shooting even par or 1-over recently, and should be in contention to be one of the top players in the county. Lupiani helped the Eagles a lot in 2013 and is a key player.
Sophomore Sean Smith is the only other player with playing experience. He found his way into the lineup a couple times last year as an alternate. He'll be thrown into the fire this year, as will a seventh-grader, eighth-grader and freshman, all oh whom are newcomers.
"If some of these kids come back, we can be competitive," Finkle said. "If they don't come, then we're young and inexperienced."
