WILLIAMSTOWN -- The Williams College Department of Music presents the Berkshire Symphony on Friday, April 13 at 8 p.m., in Chapin Hall on the Williams College campus.
This free event is open to the public.
This gala concert is the final performance of season for the Berkshire Symphony and features a few of Williams’ finest music students. The orchestra premieres the composition thesis work of Daniel K. Kohane ‘12, "Hamavdil." Also featured are student soloists, winners of the Berkshire Symphony Student Soloist Competition. Annie Jeong ‘14, flute, performs the third movement of the Concerto for Flute and Orchestra by Jacques Ibert.
In the second half of the program the orchestra performs the Symphony No. 5 by Ludwig van Beethoven.
Chapin Hall is at 54 Chapin Hall Drive on the college campus.
