ADAMS -- There will be an all-class reunion for all former students of Hoosac Valley High School and the former Adams High School on Saturday, April 28, starting at 7 p.m., at the Eagles Hall, Route 8, North Adams.
This event will benefit the Hoosac Valley High School Class of 2012 as it attempts to raise money to have an all-night, substance-free party after graduation.
The annual all-night party is organized by parents and gives the students a safe place to spend the evening together after graduation.
The Class of 2012 still needs to raise about $5,000 to make the all-night party a reality. One hundred percent of the profits from the dance going toward the class.
All former students of the school, along with their partners or friends, are invited to attend the event. There will be prizes and competitions for the class with the most people, class with the most school spirit, best class dancers, singers, etc. There will also be a Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle, door prizes and free finger foods.
Tickets are $10 per person in advance or $15 at the door. Tickets are available in advance at Val’s Variety Store, Columbia St., Adams, or from Class of 2012 parents.
The next planning meeting for the parents of the class of 2012 is at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 23 at the former Adams Memorial Middle School. All parents of students from the class are encouraged to attend.
Chinese auction donations may be brought to the meeting that night.
