NORTH ADAMS -- The Family Resource Center and The Family Place are offering a workshop, "Helping Your Kids to Be All That They Can Be," from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on today, Nov. 20, in the Brayton Elementary School Library.

Presented by Charlie Appelstein, the workshop will offer interventions that engage and inspire, strategies for building self-esteem, respectful limit setting and the importance of using consequences instead of punishment, and tips for parents to help them manage their own emotions and responses.
