NORTH ADAMS -- The Berkshire Compact Aspirations Committee Initiative will present the second annual North County Eighth Grade Career Fair at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts on Thursday, Jan. 10, from 8:30 to 11:15 a.m., in Venable Gym and Bowman Hall.
Students will learn about different types of jobs and careers to help them make informed decisions about course selection in high school, as they begin to think about higher education.
Students will hear from MCLA President Mary K. Grant and Associate Director of Admission Josh Mendel about the importance of education, exploring interests and developing career aspirations.
Students also will attend two workshops of their choice, which are designed to motivate and challenge them.
