The Greylock Elementary School community held their 14th annual ‘Pennies for Patients' campaign. During a three week period, they collected spare change for the cause and are donating a total of $2,005.82 to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of MA. To date, the school has donated $19,430.57 to the cause. Each year, a local hero is honored during the campaign. This year Susan Frew, a Title 1 teacher, who is currently in treatment for leukemia, is the honoree. Paul Narotwski's fourth grade class raised $358.28, the most in the school. They will be celebrating with a pizza party sponsored by Domino's Pizza.
