WILLIAMSTOWN -- Pine Cobble School will host its third annual Founders’ Day Plant Sale on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.
Gardeners from throughout the region donate hundreds of successful plants from their own gardens -- ensuring hardy plants that can thrive locally.
Plants are priced from $2 to $6. Plants of all sizes will be available, including hundreds of shade- and sun-loving perennials, both flowers and foliage, as well as herbs and Mother’s Day planters.
There will be baked goods and coffee for sale, as well as a raffle for a flowering shrub.
All plants will be organized by height, bloom season, and sun/shade preferences. Experienced gardeners will be on hand to advise customers as they make selections, and members of the Pine Cobble community will help carry selections to your car.
All proceeds will directly benefit children in the community; Pine Cobble School -- which receives no state or federal funding -- draws much of its budget for field trips from the sale.
To donate plants, drop them off by Friday.
Pine Cobble School is at 163 Gale Road. Enter the campus, then stay right and drive all the way to back of campus; signs will direct plant sale customers.
