PITTSFIELD -- Berkshire Medical Center’s Diabetes Education Program is offering a free series of educational sessions on pre-diabetes in May.
The sessions are designed for those whose physician has told them their blood sugar levels are elevated but not high enough to be considered diabetes, or for those who have been told they are at risk for diabetes.
A two-class series will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Mondays, May 13 and 20, at the BHS Diabetes Education Program offices, third floor of the BMC Medical Arts Complex.
The program will be presented by Julie Shepard, registered dieitian at BMC.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required by calling (413) 395-7942 or through the BHS website, www.berkshire
