CLARKSBURG -- The Clarksburg Town Election will be held on Tuesday, May 21, at the Clarksburg Senior Center on West Cross Road.
Polling hours are from noon to 7 p.m.
The following seats and candidates will be on the ballot: Moderator -- 1 year; tree warden -- one year, Ernest Dix; selectman -- three years, Carl McKinney; town clerk -- three years, Carol Jammalo; Board of Health -- three years, Gregory Vigna; School Committee -- three years, one seat -- Kimberly Goodell and Patricia Prenguber; representative to McCann -- three years, Richard Bernardi; library trustee -- three years, Rose Peters; War Memorial trustee -- three years, Edward Denault; Planning Board -- five years.
Absentee ballot for the town election are available until noon on Monday, May 20. Those interested must submit an application or something in writing requesting the absentee ballot with voters signature to receive an absentee ballot. Absentee ballot applications are available on the wall in the rear entrance to Town Hall.

The annual town meeting is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, May 29, at 7 p.m., at Clarksburg Elementary School, It is likely to change to a later date.
