CLARKSBURG -- Police are investigating a shooting in town that authorities say occurred early Saturday morning and left one person injured.
The victim, whose identity was not released Monday, was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries and later released, according to the Berkshire District Attorney's office in Pittsfield.
As of Monday evening, no arrests had been made in connection with the shooting.
District Attorney's office spokesman Frederick Lantz said the investigation was "active and ongoing and we have no new information to report" in an interview Monday.
Lantz declined to release the victim's name and the circumstances surrounding the shooting, and Clarksburg Police Chief Michael Williams said Monday a report on the shooting has not yet been written.
