Pittsfield: Zonta Club hosts spring clothing drive
The Zonta Club of Berkshire County will hold their annual spring professional clothing drive on Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Christian Center, 193 Robbins Ave.
The drive will benefit the Suit YourSelf boutique at the Christian Center, providing outfits at no cost to those entering or reentering the workforce.
Items needed are new or nearly-new suits, slacks, blouses, skirts, as well as accessories such as purses, scarves and shoes, appropriate for spring or summer. Please bring clothing on hangers, clean and ready-to-wear. Also accepted will be less formal work attire for casual workplaces.
Suit YourSelf is a collabortive initiative sponsored by Berkshire Business and Professional Women, the Christian Center, Community Action Partnership, Corporation for Public Management, Mass Rehab Commission, and the Zonta Club of Berkshire County. Donations are tax deductible.
