NORTH ADAMS -- The following cases were heard in Northern Berkshire District Court on Wednesday:

* Matthew Clairemont, 17, of Country Road in Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of larceny over $250. Clairemont was ordered by the court to pay $188.55 in restitution.

* Eric D. Girard, 24, of Willow Lane in Cheshire, admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order. Girard was sentenced to serve six months in a house of correction.

* Christopher G. Utter, 30, of Massachusetts Avenue in North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of shoplifting over $100 by asportation. Utter was sentenced to serve 16 months in a house of correction.

* Gerald T. Soucie, 20, of High Street in North Adams, admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order. Soucie was sentenced to serve 30 days in a house of correction.

* Khristyna A. Keating, 21, of Monroe Road in Florida, admitted to sufficient facts on a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor. Keating was fined $600 by the court and given a 45-day license suspension. The case was continued without a finding until Nov. 21, 2013.

Gallagher, 29, of College Avenue in North Adams, on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, an inspection sticker violation, license not in possession and registration not in possession.
