Former state Rep. Daniel Bosley was easily the most recognizable individual in this photo, but several of our Facebook friends were able to help identify a few of the others in this photo. Jennifer Foucher indentified the young artists as being Kate Wood Levesque and Josh Duprea. Levesque said that while she remembered the painting, she couldn’t remember the exact details of why the photo was taken.
Carolyn Beaudreau guessed that the women in the middle of the photo was Cheryl Wildermuth and Sonja Smith Byers was sure the woman on the left was Mrs. D’ Arcangelo, but a trip to microfilm showed it actually was Susan Aceto. The other woman was Marla Siskind of the Northern Berkshire Council of the Arts. The photo, taken June 22, 1994, was of the opening of the NBCA gallery on Main Street, North Adams.
