Calico-colored Indian corn decorates the residences and businesses of many this time of year. While named for the indigenous people of North America, it actually isn't exclusive to the continent; It grew in China, India and South American for centuries. While we mostly use Indian corn for decoration, it is edible, but not sweet like its counterpart. It has a starchy texture when cooked.
