NORTH ADAMS -- The following cases were heard in Northern Berkshire District court on Monday:

* Samantha K. Clifford, 22, of First Street in Adams, was arraigned on charges of breaking and entering for misdemeanor, uttering a false check, larceny by check under $250, and two charges of forgery of a check. A pretrial has been scheduled for March 5.

* Lakarra M. Williams, 22, of Barbour Street in North Adams, was arraigned on charges of larceny over $250, larceny under $250, breaking and entering during the daytime for a felony and failure to assist a police officer. A pretrial was scheduled for March 5.

* Michael D. Jamross, 35, of Lucia Drive in Pittsfield, was arraigned on single charges of breaking and entering a building during the nighttime for a felony and disorderly conduct, and two charges of assault and battery. A pretrial was scheduled for Jan. 16.
