ADAMS -- Two high school pupils, one from Adams and one from North Adams, will represent this section of Western Massachusetts as legislators for a day when the annual Student Government Day is held at the State House in Boston April 5. First Berkshire District representative will be Jay Shapiro of Drury High School. Second Berkshire District representative will be Albin Moser of Adams Memorial High School. NORTH ADAMS -- Neal Jacobs, 23, an independent business man at the age of 17, joined the Marine Corps for six months. Jacobs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Jacobs of 61 Elmwood Ave., bought the Window Beautiful Co. on Center Street in 1957 while a junior at Drury High School. He will have his basic training at Parris Island, S.C. and will be on active duty until July. After that he has 5 1/2 years to serve in the Marine Corps Reserve.

WILLIAMSTOWN -- Williamstown Realty has announced that Patricia Babcock of Wells Avenue in Clarksburg has joined the firm as an associate salesperson for residential and commercial sales. She is co-owner and operates Pat and Henry’s Package Store at Hall’s Ground in Clarksburg with her husband and father.
WILLIAMSTOWN -- David Dickey of The Travel Store Inc. of Williamstown has announced that Claudine Auge, present group sales manager and former office manager, has become co-owner of the corporation. She has been appointed president and general manager. Mrs. Auge joined The Travel Store in 1974 as a travel counselor.

NORTH ADAMS -- Corporators of Northern Berkshire Health Systems elected Mary Grant and Willard Greenwald to the Board of Trustees at the organization’s annual meeting. Grant, elected to a three-year term, is president of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Greenwald, elected to fill an unexpired term, is president of Delftree Corp.
NORTH ADAMS -- Northern Berkshire YMCA Betta Swim Team traveled to Northampton Jan. 11 for a league tri-meet. Leading the way for the Bettas were Kara Senecal with first-place wins in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle; Amanda Krutiak with a win in the 100-yard backstroke; and David Button with first-place wins in the 50-yard breaststroke and 200-yard individual medley.
