Mystery Photo solved

Debbie Moran, administrative assistant at the Northern Berkshire Registry of Deeds, emailed us to report the woman typing on the computer in this Mystery Photo is Frances T. Brooks, who is now the Register of Deeds. The woman by the counter is Diane Duquette, a title searcher. She adds, ‘It appears that Frances is recording a document. This was our first computerized cashering system in the registry, and it appears the town of Adams office still occupied the bottom floor, because some of our registered land books were still stored in our main office.'
