They are Carol Olson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Olson of 28 Beaver St.; Gail Sprague, daughter of Mrs. Lafayette Sprague of 65 Chestnut St.; Wendy Sutton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Sutton of 21 Lois St.; and Marilyn Booth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Booth of 142 North Summer St., Adams.
NORTH ADAMS - Four teen-age North Adams girls left to attend the 33rd annual week-long Summer School of Catholic Action. All girls are students at Drury High School. They are Marilyn Cirone, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cirone of 222 Furnace St.; Patricia Cirone, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dominick Cirone of 465 Walnut St.; Linda Estes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Estes of 54 Chantilly Ave.; and Antonia Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Jones of 423 Walnut St.

ADAMS - John Cowie Jr. of Adams has joined the law firm of Donovan & O'Connor. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar, the New York State Bar and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 9th Circuit in California. Prior to joining Donovan & O'Connor, he was an associate at Condon & Forsyth in New York City, specializing in litigation.
WILLIAMSTOWN - Rotary won the regular-season title in the Williamstown Little League. Members of the team are T.J. Elder, Jeff Hillard, Jessie Landry, Brian O'Neil, Matt Genova, Jay Montepare, David Ware, Kes Gagnon, David Lovett, Topher Sabot, Saeben Gagnon, Colin O'Neil and Tim Flaherty.

WILLIAMSTOWN - Peter Donovan and Michael Brady of the Taconic Golf Club posted a 3-underpar 60 during Monday's opening round of the State Senior Four-Ball Championship at Worcester Country Club. They are currently in a fourway tie for fourth place. Waubeeka Golf Links' Francis Esposito is tied for 84th.
WILLIAMSTOWN - The Water Street Grill won the Berkshire County Summer Soccer League championship against International of Stockbridge, 2-1. Scoring goals were Derek Cece and Bob May. Solid defense by Cece, Fabricio Viquez and Roberto Viquez. WSG keeper was Nick Wells-Bundtzen.
