The whole Benghazi ordeal taking place in Congress (Republicans out for blood) is an hysterical comedy without a punch line. This red herring is far worse then any Shakespearean tragedy, but instead resembles the comedy, "Much Ado About Nothing." We’re waiting for the punch line, it’s just not happening. There isn’t any plot to this play either.
In case someone missed it, the U.S. Marines provide security for our foreign embassies. It’s the military’s job, and specifically that of the Navy Dept., to ensure that all embassy personnel are protected. When "Islamist militants" attack our embassy, the Marines must fight them, not the president’s administration or heaven forbid, Hillary Clinton. No, we don’t have a crystal ball and can’t see things happening before they happen.
So, in conclusion, Congress can get back to work and leave this attack for the military to deal with. That’s unless the politicians want to sign up for the Marines. Just a small tip for you if you’re considering that option: Basic training is a really unpleasant, arduous task that I doubt you can handle. However, I’m sure we don’t have to worry about that, do we?
