The First Congregational Church will continue its series of Saturday worships at 4:30 p.m. with a full service and Holy Communion led by Pastor Ann Clark-Killam. Mary Thompson will be the liturgist and Glenda Phillips will lead the music. The church will also be open Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. for a short time of meditation, scripture and prayer. This sermon is one of a three-part series called "The Marriage Monologues." Scripture is John 2:1-10. During the summer months there is no Sunday School; childcare will be available in the nursery/playroom. There will be a lemonade social gathering after the service. At 1 p.m., Berkshire Lyric Theatre presents their chamber choir Ubi Caritas in a choral concert in the church sanctuary. This concert is a mix of sacred and secular choral masterpieces. There is no admission charge, but a free-will offering will be taken, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Berkshire Food Project.
