PITTSIELD -- The Mounties picked up a much-needed victory over St. Joseph’s, 1-0.

Despite the loss, Crusaders’ coach Betsy D’Agostino was pleased with her team’s effort.

"The last time we played Greylock, we lost 4-0," she said. "So this is a big improvement. It’s one of those games where your team loses, but you know they left everything on the field."

Miranda Bucky scored the lone goal late in the second half. Margot Besnard recorded six saves for the shut out.

WILLIAMSTOWN -- The Majumder family accounted for all four goals against the Braves. Nathan scored three and brother Jonah scored the other in the 4-0 win.

"We were a little sluggish in the first half, but we picked it up in the second," said Greylock coach Blair Dils. "They packed it in, but we were able to get forward and get behind them."

The unbeaten (9-0) Mounties qualified for the postseason with the win.
