The Drury High School bowling team won its second-straight Massachusetts state title.
Drury junior Jake Boillat was named the tournament MVP. Boillat bowled games of 260 and 234 during match play in the preliminary rounds. He continued to bowl strong for the Blue Devils throughout the Baker games.
Drury was pinned against Berkshire County champion Taconic in the title game. The Blue Devils built a 34-pin lead after game one and held on for a 445-404 victory in the state championship.
The Blue Devils also dispatched Lee on their way to the title. They topped Lee 369-328.
Drury was one of six Berkshire County schools to qualify for the 16-team tournament. It entered the four-team final as the No. 3 seed.
