The 2012-13 All-Transcript Girls’ Basketball Team. Top row from left, Lucy Barrett, Shannon Garvey and Jenn Gale. Bottom row from left, Meg Rodowicz, Emily Rosse and Ali Tatro. (North Adams Transcript)

Lucy Barrett, Mount Greylock

"She's our most consistent scorer. If we don't have her scoring, we are in a little bit of trouble. For the most part she was always in double digits, and as the season went along she was averaging six or seven rebounds. ... Her consistency was her biggest improvement from last year."

-- coach Paul Barrett

Jenn Gale, Hoosac Valley

"Jenn was awesome down the stretch. She was really money from the line with her free throws. ... She had 41 3s on the year. She also got much better at reading the defense and figuring out when to drive to the basket. That translated into her going to the line more."

-- coach Ron Wojcik

Shannon Garvey, Drury

"I know she worked hard all summer long and all offseason on her shooting and it paid off. Shannon from 15 feet was kind of like a layup late in the season. During that late-season win streak, she had a streak of double figures pretty much every night."

-- coach John Franzoni

Meg Rodowicz, Hoosac Valley

"Meg was unbelievable all season long. I know everyone focuses on points and scoring, but definitely Meg is just as much an MVP for us as anyone else. ... She is quick enough to guard a guard and she is tall and lanky where she can limit what they can see on the floor."

-- coach Ron Wojcik

Emily Rosse, Hoosac Valley

"Emily is a tremendous athlete, and

she is a great basketball player. I know in the Drury game, she had some big plays and layups in transition to put us on top. ... She led us in steals in the back of the press and really was a big contributor in what we were able to do this season."

-- coach Ron Wojcik.

Ali Tatro, Drury

"Ali is another kid that just plays hard all of the time. In the tournament, she really went off offensively. She collected a lot of points because we needed her to score. She's the type of player where if you need her to do something, she does it. ... She was second on the team in steals and assists."

-- coach John Franzoni
