NORTH ADAMS -- The MCLA men's tennis team fell to conference foe Lyndon State, 6-3 in the regular season finale for both clubs.
MCLA finishes the season at 1-9 overall.
MCLA dropped two of three doubles matches as Taylor Krowitz and Daniel Nesti earned a hard fought point outlasting the duo of Michael Howard and John Corey by a score of 9-7.
Krowitz earned his second point of the afternoon in the second slot, defeating Tyler Schofield in straight sets 6-4, 6-4. Mitch Mabardy was the only other winner for MCLA defeating Corey 6-0, 6-3 in the No. 3 singles match.
GRANBY -- MCLA's Sean Cota and Taylor Dunn who participated as individuals on Wednesday at the Elms Invitational at Westover Golf Course in Granby, Mass.
Cota and Dunn both shot 79s in the event. It was the final event of the season for the Trailblazers.
WILLIAMSTOWN -- Williams got out to an early lead and held on to defeat RPI, 4-2 in a non-conference game.
Williams started the scoring in the bottom of the first. Leadoff hitter Darren Hartwell singled to left center. He then stole second. Phil McGovern followed with a ground ball up the middle that scored Hartwell.
RPI answered immediately in the top of the second, cutting the Williams lead to 2-1.
Williams got its lead back to two with a run in the bottom of the second and never let go.
Offensively, Hartwell led the way for Williams, going 3-4 with a triple, stolen base and two RBI. KC Murphy and Patrick Blizzard each added two hits for the Ephs.
MIDDLEBURY -- Williams fell to Middlebury, 16-5. Middlebury used their aggressive offense early in the first half to jump out to a 5-0 lead that propelled the Panthers to victory.
The two teams were evenly matched on turnovers, ground balls and draw controls. The Panthers led the Ephs in shots 35-18.

WILLIAMSTOWN -- Middlebury's Andrew Metros broke the tie with 12 seconds to play to give Middlebury a win over Williams, 15-14.
Williams rallied from a five goal deficit in the fourth, but couldn't secure the win.
Steven Kiesel had three goals for the Ephs.

WILLIAMSTOWN -- The Williams beat Trinity 8-1 in their final regular season home contest of the season.
Williams cruised in doubles play, taking all three matches comfortably. Williams won five of six singles matches, but two were in three sets.

HADLEY -- Williams, Amherst, and Wesleyan played in the annual Little Three Championship at the par-72 Hickory Ridge Golf Club.
The Ephs needed a tie-break to win the title, as they and the Lord Jeffs finished 6-6 in points at the conclusion of play. The tiebreak was total number of holes won between the two teams, which the Ephs won by two.
The Ephs and Lord Jeffs both beat the Cardinals 12-0.
