WILLIAMSTOWN -- Meredith Dezieck hit a three-run home run in the first inning and Heather Tomkowicz took care of the rest as the Mount Greylock softball team topped Drury, 6-0 on Friday.
Tomkowicz struck out eight and allowed just one hit, a week after the two teams went 15 innings.
"Heather does a decent job of keeping batters off-balance, mixing in her off-speed pitches and hitting outside corners," Greylock coach June Blake said. "That worked really well for her today."
Dezieck didn't waste any time getting the Mounties on the board and they never looked back.
"It was great, coming out we had a pretty good first inning defensively and followed it up with three runs," Blake said.
Kendal Frya had two RBI in the contest and Anna Penna launched an RBI triple to tack on the final Greylock run.
Kayla Bobbit had the lone hit for the Blue Devils, a double.
